Requirements

Applicants for the Editor position must possess advanced proficiency in English, with exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and stylistic nuance. Editors are expected to edit a minimum of five chapters weekly, refining flow, readability, and tone while prioritizing the author’s intent over literal translation. This role demands cultural fluency to adapt Korean idioms into natural English equivalents, meticulous attention to detail in rephrasing awkward or unclear sentences, and the ability to preserve narrative authenticity. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with translators, authors, and team members, as is adaptability to feedback and a growth-oriented mindset.
